Founded in 1998, Portico is the Baton Rouge based premier provider of custom e-learning courseware delivered via the Internet to corporate and government clients. Specializing in custom e-learning courseware management and custom e-learning courseware development, we have implemented Internet-based learning systems successfully in a wide range of government, corporate, and technical environments. Our company currently provides e-learning to over 100,000 personnel worldwide. And that number continues to grow each day.

We began development of our proprietary systems in 1999 and launched our library of regulatory compliance courseware and Learning Management System, CareerMap™, in 2000. In 2004, we released CareerMap 2™, Portico's latest generation Learning Management System, available in either a corporate or hosted model.

Lee Pryor, Chief Executive Officer

Lee has many years of experience as a founder and Chief Executive for start up and late stage entrepreneurial companies. He began his career with Time Warner. He then moved to IBM in mainframe sales. He left to found a computer supply company that grew to 55 sales people, over 300 employees, and $48 million in sales.

After selling the computer business, he ran five private and public companies. These emerging and late stage companies were in a variety of industries, including e-commerce, Internet database publishing and marketing, online on demand printing, computer supplies distribution, and technology contract manufacturing.

Lee is the author of "The Savvy Entrepreneur, an Insider's Secrets to Managing for Success." He is an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship at Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business, is a business executive coach for emerging enterprises, has an entrepreneur column in BIZ News, and is a speaker on the topic of entrepreneurship at venture capital conferences, association meetings, and business schools.

He is also on the Board of Directors of CaminoSoft of Los Angeles, a publicly held software company as well as the Board of the Louisiana Technology Council, where he is Director of the LTC Recovery/Incubator Center which is funded by the Louisiana Economic Development Commission.

Karl has over 13 year of experience in developing computer-delivered training in a variety of industries and formats. He is a graduate of Louisiana State University in Graphic Design. As head of Production, he leads an experienced creative team in planning, design, programming, and delivery of e-learning initiatives.

Sulin Liu, Vice President, Technical Services

Sulin has over 10 years of experience in application development. He is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE), as well as a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA). He is also proficient in Oracle technologies and the SCORM Standards. Sulin manages all CareerMap™ development, upgrades, and implementations.

Elizabeth is a graduate of Howard University and has over 14 years experience managing and working within the Customer Service and technical support area. She holds a BA Degree and takes great pride in providing clients with solutions-oriented technical and service support. She is especially adept in the planning, analysis and implementation of CareerMap™ and CareerMap 2™.
